Rapper Da Brat has yet to pay any restitution regarding the ruling from the case of her 2007 altercation which left the victim Shayla Stevens permanently disfigured and partially brain damaged. After serving 21 months in jail and being released in 2011, Da Brat was ordered to pay Ms. Stevens $6.4 million dollars in 2014 following the civil suit, which to this day, she has not paid a dime. The original amount has since rose to $8 million dollars due to interest. Da Brat briefly spoke about her money woes on a recent episode of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. Watch the clip below.
